Who is responsible
UltraEdge is operated by Beaux Walton. Contact hello@heybeaux.dev for privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete your information.
Local planning data
Events, checkpoints, routes, gear, weights, drop bags, crew contacts, notes and profile entries are saved on your device. Selected photos and race-guide PDFs are copied into app storage. Local planning does not require an email/password account. The free release does not upload these records to UltraEdge servers and has no online team sharing, cloud backup, in-app messaging, advertising or app-operated analytics.
Maps and files you share
Map backgrounds request the area viewed from the device map provider and may require an internet connection. On iOS, see Apple’s privacy information. UltraEdge does not track your live GPS position.
Exported PDFs may contain contacts, notes and route details. Review a file before sending it through the system share sheet. Your chosen destination and recipients control their copies. Attached guides are shared separately. External websites and file providers have their own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Local plans remain until you remove them or delete the app. Attachment cleanup varies by app version; older builds can retain an imported file after its record is removed. On iOS, Delete App removes the local app container; Offload App keeps app data. Manage exported files and device backups separately.
If you used online team rooms in an earlier TestFlight build, contact us about deleting those earlier server records. This local-only App Store release does not create or join rooms. Uninstalling a previous beta does not erase records already shared with others.
Support and safety concerns
When you email us, we receive your address and the information you send. We use it to investigate and respond. Avoid unnecessary health details or other people’s private information. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle the request and related security or legal obligations; contact us to request deletion.
Website waitlist
The waitlist receives your email, optional name and race message, plus a submission identifier and time, to send launch information. Submissions are delivered to the operator’s private GitHub issue repository. If the destination cannot be verified as private or delivery fails, the form offers email contact instead of claiming success. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
The signup handler does not log personal form content or include browser user-agent and referrer fields in the saved record. First-party event counting records only an allowed button or result event name, without analytics cookies or personal event properties. Vercel hosting may process connection metadata and request logs; see Vercel’s privacy policy.
To leave the waitlist or request deletion, email us with “UltraEdge privacy” in the subject. We use waitlist information for launch communications; we do not sell it or use it for cross-company advertising tracking.
Changes
This policy takes effect September 6, 2026. We will update this page when our practices change and identify the updated date. Contact us before sharing if you have questions about these practices.
